As a Manager, IT Production Support you will be leading a team of highly skilled and experienced Application Support Developers who are responsible for investigating production support issues, and implementing application defect fixes and optimizations, supporting customer launches and delivering low-to-medium complexity software enhancements in support of revenue generation and operational efficiencies. Your accountability includes monitoring & resolving production issues, change management supports, and handling day-to-day activities required to run the mission-critical systems for the company ensuring business service levels are met and environments are managed. As a Manager, you will also be playing a critical role in mentoring the team, incident management, and effective problem management, and engages 3rd party providers and/or development as required.

  • Improves team performance, recognizes and rewards performance, coaches employees, supports their development, and manages poor performance
  • Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business
  • Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with multiple geographical teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Investigation and troubleshooting of production problems and liaising with business, vendors and IT groups for timely resolution
  • Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders
  • Supports deployment activities, managing implementation issues to resolution
  • Develop tools to automate tasks towards improved efficiencies
  • Provide input and insight towards on-going PS process improvements

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
 
  • Minimum 7+ years of development experience with .NET, Angular, SQL and Azure / Cloud
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Team Lead / Manager
  • Good understanding of techniques used in application troubleshooting/debugging
  • Good understanding of database design, development, and maintenance practices
  • Knowledge of support and operations practice, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience
