As a Manager, Enterprise Architecture, you will provide leadership, technical and architectural direction to a team of multi-domain Architects for the delivery of Architecture Artifacts aligning with business strategies and priorities. You will facilitate large complex assignments while taking an enterprise view of business requirements. You will also need to research, investigate and recommend technology solutions taking into consideration process, technology and data integration impacts across other platforms along with integration with other downstream systems and key technologies. You will be accountable to execute against defined strategic multi-year IT portfolio roadmap objectives under the direction of the Director, Enterprise Architecture & Solutions Delivery. This role has approximately 8 direct reports + contract consultants when required.
HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
Ensure that the business goals are met, executing and adhering to the organizational action plan.
Assess, define, and champion enterprise technology infrastructure, information, and application architecture strategies, principles and standards in alignment with IT strategy and govern their use.
Collaborate with IT stakeholders and project teams to create, document, assess and/ or validate the application and infrastructure solution architectures for specific systems.
Lead the analysis of the technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Exercises influence and impact across the enterprise in promoting the thought leadership and the strategic technology architecture direction.
Ensure timely delivery of Architecture artifacts prepared by the team members in support of projects in their respective portfolios.
Effectively communicate complex architectural strategies and directions to both systems and business users.
Interface with systems and business management to raise their level of understanding and support for information integration.
Inspire, motivate and empower people to deliver organizational goals, while also delivering value back to employees. This includes coaching, mentoring and managing employee performance
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
10+ years in IT Architecture management, project management, client service environment, operations service support and service delivery preferably in financial industry
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business related discipline
In-depth understanding of business, application, infrastructure and data architecture
Strong technical skills in multiple Architecture Domains
