Our Client, the National leader in their industry, is seeking a talented Software Developer to join their growing software development team. This role will play an integral part in requirements gathering, software design, development, installation, testing and maintenance of Kofax Total Agility solutions. This is a 6-month contract opportunity based in the west-end Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with a strong probability of extension. Responsibilities and Requirements:
4+ years of experience in developing applications in Kofax Total Agility: Version 7.0 or higher and well versed in, scan profiles, creating batch classes, Kofax Import Connector (KIC), Kofax Search and Matching(KSMS), Kofax Transformation OCR and OMR.
Overall 5+ years of application development experience with a proven ability to think logically when solving problems, the thought process to triage user incidents/software defects. Minimum two years of experience in business process design.
Share the knowledge to be able to guide other resources on the team, Collaborate and work as an excellent team player.
Building relationships with enterprise IT/business groups in order to resolve production issues with minimal business impact.
Create all required documentation such as Technical Design documents, Problem resolution Procedures, develop/review IT implementation plans identifying potential issues and recommending changes wherever appropriate.
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Windows Azure a big plus
